Sixteen Rivers Press is a shared-work, nonprofit poetry collective dedicated to providing an alternative publishing avenue for Northern California poets. Founded in 1999 by seven writers, the press is named for the sixteen rivers that flow into San Francisco Bay.

Submission period now open through Feb. 1, 2021
We invite authors to submit book-length poetry manuscripts between November 1, 2020 and February 1, 2021.Selected manuscripts will be scheduled for publication in Spring 2023. Please read our Submission Guidelines for details.
